Refworks is Changing to EndNote Fusion
RefWorks is officially being renamed and transitioning to EndNote Fusion on October 6, 2026, as part of Clarivate’s initiative to create a unified cloud-based reference management platform.
What This Means for Users
- No Action Required: You do not need to do anything to prepare for this transition.
- Automatic Data Transfer: All of your existing references, projects, folders, attachments, tags, custom citation styles, and sharing permissions will transfer over automatically.
- Uninterrupted Workflows: Your sign-in credentials, bookmarks, and writing integrations (such as Word and Google Docs) will continue to work seamlessly without service interruption.
- Interface Refresh: You will see an updated look and feel with a refreshed user interface, and an in-app notification will appear when the change goes live.

What End Users Need to Know
