Fines for Lost and Damaged Items
- All items that are 60 days overdue are automatically declared lost, and replacement and processing fees, as well as the maximum overdue fine for the item, are charged to the patron’s account. If an item is returned in good condition within one year, the replacement fee may be refunded. The processing fee and overdue fine are non refundable.
- If a damaged item is returned, it will be repaired (if possible), and the patron’s account will be charged for the cost of the repairs. If the item cannot be repaired, the appropriate replacement fee will be charged.
