Taught religion at Samford University, 1956-1958; Dean of Students, 1965-1968; Vice president for Student Affairs, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, 1976-1978; Executive Treasurer, Southern Baptist Convention’s Education Commission, Nashville, 1978-; editor, Southern Baptist Educator. Died January 14, 2005.
