Ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist. Born– Sept. 15, 1884, in Tuscaloosa. Parents– James Thomas Searcy and Annie Ross Searcy. Married–Mary Emily Fitts, 1915. Education– University of Alabama, A.B.; University of Michigan, M.D. Otolaryngologist in Tuscaloosa, Memphis, and Birmingham; served with U.S. Army in World War I. Member American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology; president of Alabama Medical Association; member Board of Trustees of Alabama State Hospital. Died February 28, 1964.
