Reporter for Time Houston Bureau, 1979-81. Published articles in many journals; closely associated with George and frequently published in Rolling Stone. Fellow of the Hoover Institute at Stanford, 2002.  Co-host of “Batchelder and Alexander” radio show, 2001-2003. Honors– Recipient Academy of American Poets award.
