Education– Louisiana State University; Longwood College; Bowling Green State University, M.F.A., 1974. Taught at University of Pittsburgh; Hollins College; University of Alabama. Awarded National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, 1980. Member– Authors Guild of the Authors League of America, Associated Writing Program. President, Associated Writing Program.
