Education– Old Pleasant Hill Academy; Southern University, Ph.D., 1893. Taught at Wylam, Jefferson County, Ala. Joined the North Alabama Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, 1898. Pastor of churches in Albertville, Cullman, Bridgeport, Scottsboro and Birmingham, Ala. Did missionary work in Mexico for five years. Died October 31, 1939.
