Extension worker. Born– Apr. 29, 1914, in Collirene, Ala. Parents– Francis Gordon and Carrie Manola (Middleton) Lyon. Married– John Bryant Traylor. Children– Two. Education– attended University of Montevallo. Worked with Lowndes Co. Extension Service. Officer in Lowndes Co. Historical Society; active in local history and genealogical research.  Died January 5, 2001.
