Education– Stetson University, A.B., 1951; Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.A., 1959; Ph.D., 1965; Danish government grant and a Fulbright Travel Grant and studied at the University of Copenhagen, 1959-1960. Taught at Murray State College, 1960-1965; Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, 1965-1966; head of the Department of Philosophy, University of South Alabama, 1966-; Council of Learned Societies grant, 1969. Member of the American Philosophical Association, Philosophy of Education Society, and Soeren Kierkegaard Society.
