Instructor of religion and philosophy, Berea College, 1958-1959; University of Idaho, 1960-1961; Little Rock University, 1961-1962; Auburn University, 1962-1999 (Head of Philosophy Department, 1972-99). Member ad president of the Auburn, Ala. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Awarded status of professor emeritus at Auburn on his retirement in 1999.
