Employed by Gadsden Leader; Gadsden Times, 1895; cast iron soil pipe company, Gadsden for two years, Chattanooga for one year; insurance company, Atlanta; managing editor, Gadsden Evening Journal, 1920-1924; established, Gadsden Evening Star, 1925; combined with Times, 1927-1955.
