Employed by the Research Dept. at the University of Alabama, 1948-1950; teacher, Fort Payne public schools, 1949-1962; trustee and editor of Landmarks of Dekalb County, associate editor, Landmarks News, 1972-. Received merit and distinguished service awards of the Alabama Historical Commission.
