Professor of Obstetrics, Medical College of Alabama, 1914-1956; chairman, Department of Obstetrics, Jefferson Hillman Hospital. Member and president (1933-1934) Alabama Medical Association; Jefferson County Board of Public Welfare. Given Meritorious Award by the American Academy of General Practice, 1959. Served as president and medical director of Physicians National Life Insurance. Candidate for State Democratic Executive Committee, 1958. Died August 1978.
