Children– One. Education– attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Employed as an electrical draftsman and designer; retired 1985. Taught classes in canoeing at UAB. Published many articles in outdoor, trade, and general periodicals. Founder and president, Birmingham Canoe Club. Died October 31, 2013.
