DAVIS, HARRIET JAMES “JIMMIE” MORROW, 1896-1978

Biography:

Teacher; journalist; author.  Born– October 22, 1896,  Guntersville. Parents–James K. and Mary Ann Copeland Morrow.  Married–Hugh McCrory, attorney and Tennessee legislator, January 2, 1921 (died 1935); married George Harding (died 1958); married Clyde J. Davis. Education:  graduated from Chilton County High School, 1915; studied at Howard College and Peabody Insitute, Nashville.  Worked as a  school teacher in Birmingham; freelance reporter; clerk, Tennessee legislature. Died August 23, 1978.
