Biography:

Teacher, writer, clerical worker. BornРOctober 20, 1862, Huntsville. ParentsРZebulon Pike (an early mayor of Huntsville) and Williametta (Eason) Davis. EducationРPrivate tutors. Taught school in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas, 1893-1900; worked as a stenographer and newspaper writer; held various government positions, including deputy clerk for U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama, 1901-05. Died June 10, 1936.
