Education– Sam Houston State University, B.S., 1959; M.A., 1960; University of Alabama, Ed.S., 1974; additional graduate study at the Universities of Oklahoma and Oregon. Taught voice and piano privately in Texas and Alabama; taught in public schools of Texas and Alabama, including Partlow State School and Tuscaloosa City Schools. Hosted a music series on Alabama Education Television, 1971-1972; worked with continuing education at Druid City Hospital.
