Honors&#8211; Recipient of gold medals from the General Conference of the Methodist Church of Brazil and the Methodist Church of Northern Europe; World Outlook Medal, Oslo, Norway; Florida Southern College, honorary LL.D., 1927; Southwestern University, Litt.D., 1940.
