Elementary school principal, Franklin County, Tenn.; served in the U.S. Air Force, 1950-1954; ordained a Southern Baptist Minister, 1954; served as pastor of churches in Estill Springs, Gallatin, Flintville, and Nashville (Tenn.), Harvey, (Ill.), and Huntsville (Ala.).
