Education&#8211; Washington State University, B.S.; Columbia University, M.S. Taught\u00a0in the architecture department at Auburn University and served as the acting head of the department, 1929-1964.\u00a0\u00a0Served as district officer for Alabama of the Historic American Buildings Survey, 1933-1937 and 1970-1972; restoration consultant for the Alabama Division of Parks and Historic Sites, 1970-1972. Honors; Medalist in the Beaux Arts Institute of Design, first medal, XV Paris Prize, 1922; Distinguished Service Award from the Alabama Historical Commission, 1975.
