Ordained\u00a0minister in the Congregational Church, 1959. \u00a0Executive director of the Henry George School of Social Science in San Diego, 1959-1962; taught at Northland College in Wisconsin, 1962-1963; Northwestern State University, Louisiana, 1963-1965; Auburn University, 1965-1992. Member of the American Philosophical Society, \u00a0Southern Society of Philosophy and Psychology, Alabama Philosophy Society, and American Association of University Professors. Served as a member of the editorial boards of the American Journal of Economics and Sociology, 1969; Personalist, 1975-1980. Awarded the George Washington Medal by the Freedom Foundation, 1971.
