Knopf, NY, 1977-80; freelance illustrator, designer and writer, 1980-84; Assistant to Art Director, Lothrop, Lee and Shepherd, 1984-85; co-owner, The Bookstore on Wall Street, Asheville, NC.\u00a0 Alabama Library Association Award for Best Children’s Book, 1985.<\/p>\n
