Baptist pastor in Chester, Pa.; Texarkana, and Rockdale, Tex.; Shiloh, N.C. Taught at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1905-1919; served as dean of the seminary, 1913-1919; Mercer University, 1921-1925; Union University, Jackson, Tennessee, 1925-1939. .
