Education&#8211;  Huntingdon College, A.B.; studied architecture at Alabama Polytechnic Institute;  Simmons University, M.S. (library science).  In U.S. Navy, 1944-1947;  librarian at Montgomery County Library, 1950-1952, at Air University,  1952-1955, at Air War College, 1958-1959, at Woodman Life Insurance Co.
