Education– Emory University, B.A.; Johns Hopkins University, M.A., 1966; Ph.D., 1971. Teacher, Lycee des Garcons,\u00a0Mulhouse, France, 1956-57;\u00a0teacher in\u00a0Alabama, 1957-58. \u00a0Congressional staff assistant 1959-1965; congressional staff\u00a0fellow, American Political Science Association, 1965-1966; staff associate,\u00a0American Council on Education, 1967-1969;\u00a0 President’s Commission on White House Fellows, 1967-1969;\u00a0\u00a0founding faculty, \u00a0Health Policy Program at University of California (San Francisco)\u00a0after\u00a0\u00a01972-77. President and Treasurer, The Public Record,<\/em> after 1970.\u00a0 Consultant to many government agencies and private organizations. Member of American Political Science Association,\u00a0Association of\u00a0History of Medicine, and other professional organizations.\u00a0 Chair, Board of Directors, Choral Arts Society of Washington, 1969-71.
