Owner, El Mesquital guest ranch, Tuscon, Ariz., 1945-1948. Correspondent, International News Service, 1950-1955; managing editor, Florida Business Letter, 1955-1957; homesteaded and sold radio advertising in Alaska; fished for salmon commercially in Bristol Bay.
