Employed as teacher after entering Society of Jesus; taught in\u00a0Roman Catholic High Schools; \u00a0high school counselor, Shreveport, La., 1950-1951. Served short term missionary assignments in several countries. Assistant pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Macon, Georgia, 1953-58. Catholic Chaplain, Southern Methodist University. Friend and spiritual advisor of writer Flannery O&#8217;Connor.
