Education&#8211; Birmingham Southern College, University of Western Australia School of Law, University of Alabama School of Law\u00a0and the University of Texas. U.S. Navy submarine service, 1941-1946.\u00a0 Practiced law in Birmingham for fifty years; board certified as a civil practice lawyer.\u00a0 Involved in various business enterprises, including mortgage banking and real estate. Member&#8211; U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II; Alabama and American Bar Associations; Jefferson County Pensions and Securities Board.
