Employed as a reporter and news editor for the New Haven Register, New Haven, Conn., 1933-1938; professor of journalism, University of Alabama, 1938-. The John Luskin Endowed Scholarship, &#8220;to promote the study of journalism&#8221; was established in his honor by the College of Communication and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama.
