Lewis and Associates, the oldest black owned advertising and public relations firm in America. Reporter for the Birmingham World and the Birmingham Mirror; \u00a0founder and president, Birmingham Times newspaper, 1963-1974; director, Office of Highway Safety in the administration of Governor George C. Wallace, 1974-1978; president, Lawson State Community College, Birmingham, 1978-87. Member&#8211; Law Enforcement Planning Agency; Birmingham Urban League.
