Children&#8211; Two. Education&#8211; Judson College, M.A., 1922. Taught in Wilcox and Marengo County schools. Member&#8211; National League of Pen Women; Wilcox County Historical Society; Camden Culture Club. Published stories in Saturday Evening Post, Holland&#8217;s Magazine, Literary Messenger, Georgia Review, and others. Honors&#8211; A Place of Springs received the Alabama Library Association Nonfiction\u00a0Authors Award, 1981. Named outstanding clubwoman of the year, Federated Women&#8217;s Clubs of Alabama, 1982.
