Employed by University of Alabama libraries as a cataloger, 1955-1963, as head of the science library, 1963-1969, acting dean of libraries, 1969-1972; University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, director of Libraries, 1973-1994. Member; Alabama Library Association; Southeastern Library Association; American Library Association, Phi Delta Kappa, Beta Phi Mu.\u00a0 With\u00a0his wife, Professor Mary B.
