Education&#8211; Florence Normal College, graduated, 1900; Nashville Medical College, M.D., 1906; University of Louisville Medical School; post-graduate work in New York City, at University of Pennsylvania Medical School, and at the University of Vienna. Worked as a teacher in local schools in the 1890&#8217;s; practiced medicine in Oakman and Bessemer, Ala.; served in France in the U.S. Army during World War I; Walter Reed General Hospital; in private practice as an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist\u00a0in Orlando, Fla., 1922-1957.
