Teacher in Covington County; superintendent of Dadeville schools, 1907-1909; principal, Tallapoosa High School; principal, Northside High School, Talladega; principal, Alabama School for the Blind, Talladega, 1914-1938; superintendent, 1938-1946. President, American Association of Institutions for the Blind.
