Taught at North Carolina State University, 1966-1970; director of NC State Center for Occupational Education, 1967-1970; sociology professor and department head, Auburn University, 1970-1982; director, National Evaluation of Concerted Services in Training and Education, 1961-1970; proposal reviewer, National Endowment for the Humanities; moderator and producer of TV&#8217;s &#8220;Options&#8221; and &#8220;Insight.&#8221; Founder and executive director, Atlanta Speakers Bureau and Griessman and Associates. Developed Lincoln impersonation presentation &#8220;An Evening with Abraham Lincoln&#8221;; presented in many venues. \u00a0Fellow of the American Anthropology Association; contributing editor International Journal of Contemporary Sociology.
