Naturalized a U.S.\u00a0citizen August 15, 1916. \u00a0 Married&#8211; Jeannette Shory, Birmingham. Children&#8211; Three. Settled in south Mississippi, establishing a mercantile business. Later moved to Mobile. Served in the Alabama National Guard and the\u00a0&#8220;Rainbow Division,&#8221; during World War I.
