Married&#8211; Amy Hinson. Education&#8211; University of Alabama, J.D., 1955; J.D., 1956. U.S. Army, Korean War. Admitted to the bar in 1955 and practiced law until 1959. Served as judge of the Family Court of Montgomery, 1959-1963. Elected presiding judge of the Civil Division\u00a0of the 15th Judicial Circuit of Alabama, 1963. Taught at Jones Law School, 1957-1960. Member of the American Legion, the Alabama and American Bar Associations, and the American Judicature Association. Elected president of Youth Legislature of Alabama; president of the Alabama Institute of Neurological Development, 1966-1969; president of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Alabama, 1968-1973. Named an Outstanding Young Man of Alabama, 1962. Lived the latter part of his life in southern\u00a0California.
