Member of the American, Southwestern, and Alabama Philosophical Associations, the C.S. Peirce Society, the Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology.\u00a0Named to the Auburn\u00a0Academy of Teaching and Outstanding Teachers, 2004. \u00a0Awarded the status of\u00a0 professor emeritus upon his retirement at Auburn in 2013.
