Howard College, 1944-1945; worked for Danforth Foundation Association, 1950-1953; Consultant to Creek Nation on claims pending before Indian Claims Commission, 1957-1967 and 1968-1973. Member of the Southern History Association, American Economic Association, Economic History Association, Orginal American Historians, and Phi Beta Kappa.
