Scanning Sheet Music

  1. Open Epson Scan. --Be sure to scan sheet music with the following settings in Epson Scan (once you set each of the tabs, your settings should be saved, but always check after you login):
    1. Mode: Professional Mode
    2. Document Type: Reflective
    3. Document Source: Document Table
    4. Auto Exposure Type: Photo
    5. Image Type: 24-bit Color
    6. Resolution: 600 dpi
    7. Adjustments: None of the tabs listed should be checked (Unsharp Mask, Descreening, Color Restoration, Backlight Correction, and Dust Removal). Uncheck them if they are checked.
    8. Configuration Tab: Click on "No Color Correction"
