Nitin has been a student worker with us since 2006, but was recently promoted to full time staff as Digitization Specialist. He brings remarkable audio expertise, in particular, to our team.  We have been very impressed with the creativity and conscientious diligence he brings to his work.  Already he is exploring methods of improving our online delivery of audio recordings, and their transcripts, to our users.

Nitin has an undergraduate degree in Music (classical guitar) and is completing his MLS in [http://www.slis.ua.edu/drupal5/ Library and Information Studies] from the University of Alabama.  In his spare time, he maintains a website called [[http://www.humaneguitarist.org The Humane Guitarist]] which is dedicated to the technique and health of the classical guitarist.
