  • The Digitization Technologist began digitizing Hilaritas, part of the Alabama Reel-to-Reel collection.

Improved access and usability:

  1. Identify methods of browsing “metadata triples” via the web that are useful for patrons
  2. Expand faceting support software to incorporate genres and genre categories as defined by metadata librarians, and shift processing to the point of MODS upload
  3. Begin 2nd Innovation Grant Project on 3D digitization process
  • For the Innovation Grant, equipment was purchased for grant project and assembled. Camera software automation development has begun.
  • Faceting support development still awaits metadata librarians.

Preservation and long-term access:

  1. Identify the technical metadata we can and should extract from audio, and which technical metadata we need to supply.
  2. Develop processes and methods to capture and store tags and transcriptions from Acumen to the archive
