1. To evaluate the authority of a website you need to consider
How many times the website has been visited
Whether the authors are experts in the subject
Whether famous people like this website
How expertly the website uses pictures and sound

2. The website of an advocacy organization
Is probably trying to sell you something
Is mainly intended to entertain the users
Strongly supports one side of issue

3. When evaluating a website you should look at the copyright statement all but one of the following:
The last update of the site
Contact information
The sponsoring person or organization
A table of contents

4. Scholarly journals are periodicals that
Always have many advertisements
Contain articles by commentators and opinion leaders
Contain articles that include citations and bibliographies
Are focused on one business or profession

5. For a paper on the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe your professor has told you to use secondary sources. You would use
A recent biography of Poe
All of these
A scholarly article on the imagery of death in Poe's poetry
An article on the latest theory of what caused Poe's death

6. You want to find some information about the latest devices to increase gas mileage in cars and trucks. You would probably find it in
