CRL (Center for Research Libraries) Catalog-The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is a consortium of North American research libraries that acquires and preserves traditional and digital research resources and makes them available to member institutions through interlibrary loan and electronic delivery.

Digital Collections - The University of Alabama Libraries actively engages in the creation of special digital collections and exhibits.

E-Book Collections- UA Libraries subscribes to a number of electronic book collections that are searchable through the Libraries Catalog or the collection Web site.

Electronic Journals-Click to search a list of electronic journals to which UA Libraries subscribes by title or by subject. Click on a title to search journal content.

- ExtremeSearch is the University of Alabama Libraries' new federated search solution. Federated searching allows users to simultaneously search many databases.

- GoogleScholar is a freely available search engine that specifically searches scholarly material. Authorized University of Alabama users can link from citations in GoogleScholar to the full text of materials to which The University of Alabama subscribes.

Journals by Title-Know the title of the journal you need? Look here to search the University of Alabama Libraries' print and electronic journal subscriptions.

Kudzu-Is a service that offers you the ability to search the library catalogs of multiple research libraries at one time and request books from them through interlibrary loan. Only books are available through KUDZU at this time.

Libraries' Catalog-The University of Alabama Libraries’ Catalog is a database of the books, newspapers, magazines and journals (NOT articles) the University of Alabama Libraries own.

Other Libraries Catalogs-This web page, called Libweb, currently lists over 7500 pages from libraries in over 135 countries.

Subject Guides- Subject Guides are guides to finding information on a specific topic. They are most helpful to you in deciding where to start your research.

Tutorials-Here you will find tutorials created by The University of Alabama which can assist you in your research needs at UA. There is also a highly selective list of tutorials from other individuals and libraries which provide general information applicable to many areas of research.
