Instruction and Class Visits to the W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library

The W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library offers class instruction relating to primary source research in general, and specialized instruction and information sessions relating to a particular topic or course.

University of Alabama faculty members are especially encouraged to contact us for class visits to the Hoole Library, working in concert to develop class projects that take advantage of the wealth of materials housed in the W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library.

We ask that you provide us with ample time (at least two weeks) and information prior to the session. It is advisable to contact us prior to the beginning of the semester, and when assembling your syllabus in order to make certain that the time and date you would like is available. We ask that you provide an electronic copy of your syllabus as part of the initial contact.  Please keep in mind that we do require prior arrangments for any group visit. Please do not schedule or include us in your syllabus without prior arrangment!
