W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library Photographic Policy

Note: For general policies, please see the

Photography Policy of the University Libraries.

Individuals may make photographs of the lobby area only. Photographs of the lobby and of exhibits are allowed, except as noted below.

Photography of books, manuscripts, artifacts, and other materials is not allowed, either for research or commercial purposes, except in rare cases, with the permission of the Curator.

Requests for images of material held by the Hoole Library may be made using the appropriate form available in the Reading Room.

The Hoole Library reserves the right to refuse duplication and imaging orders on the basis of copyright, privacy, or condition.

Photographs for the purpose of Libraries-related public relations are allowed.
