Books - You may use the online catalog [http://library.ua.edu] to obtain the location and call number of print books in the UA Libraries. The catalog will also tell you if UA Libraries has a license for an electronic book. You may search by book title, book author or editor (last name first), Keyword, subject heading, and other options.
Journal title - You may also search the online catalog by the title of the journal to determine whether the library has a subscription to the journal title, electronically or in print; and which years of a journal title are available electronically and which years are available in print.
Need journal articles, technical reports or conference papers? Search these databases and print indexes for citations and/or full text.
Some of the databases will contain full text articles and reports. Some will have links to full text articles and reports. For many databases, the Libraries have configured a button labeled Article Linker to help you determine if the Libraries has access to a given article or journal title. You may also search the online catalog by journal title to determine whether the Libraries have the journal volume in which a needed article is located.
