Defined: Period of formal learning lasting from ages 5 to adolescence. Defined as grades 1-8, and sometimes kindergarten or nursery school.   Alternately, the division of education programs devoted to and concerned with general education, as opposed to secondary or higher education as being less specialized in content and less selective as to pupils and students.

Supplementary Curriculum Materials:

Beyond materials listed in the Library Catalog, McLure Library also carries the Kraus Curriculum Development Library. This collection is available on microfiche and is located next to the ERIC microfiche on the basement level of McLure Library. The curriculum guides in this collection were selected at Annual meetings of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (www.ascd.org).
