University of Oregon Health, Physical Education and Recreation Microforms (HPER) Microfiche
 
This collection of microfiche includes masters and doctoral theses and dissertations on the subjects of health, physical education, and recreation. The complete document is found on microfiche, organized by call number, in individual envelopes.   All documents are written by graduate students from all over the country and have been collected and disseminated by the University of Oregon. Each thesis is cataloged in the Libraries’ online catalog and can be accessed by author, title, and subject entries. The HPER microfiche are located next to the ERIC microfiche collection, in the first two full-sized filing cabinets next to the Microfiche readers, below the windows, on the basement floor of the Education Library

Citation and abstract information for many entries can also be found in EBSCOhost’s SportDiscus database; however, UA Libraries does not have access to a full text online version of the HPER collection. If a citation is found on SportDiscus, you may search the Libraries’ catalog for UA holdings, which will display any of the HPER Microfiche titles.

Microfiche reader printers are adjacent to the collection. Valid UA ACTion Cards and Community User Cards can be used to make paper copies of each page. Cost is 10¢ per page.
