Individuals may make photographs of the lobby area only. Photographs of the lobby and of exhibits are allowed, except as noted below.
Photography of books, manuscripts, artifacts, and other materials is not allowed, either for research or commercial purposes. All imaging is done by the W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library. Permission to use any images for commerical purposes or on the World Wide Web need to be made formally and in writing by using this form. Publishing or using an images from our collections without permission is in direct violation of our regulations. We reserve the right to refuse permission due to copyright, condition, or confidentiality.
Requests for images of material held by the Hoole Library may be made using the imaging request form. [Pdf of form available here]
The Hoole Library reserves the right to refuse duplication and imaging orders on the basis of copyright, privacy, or condition.
Photographs for the purpose of Libraries-related public relations are allowed and encouraged.
